The wonderfully colourful image above is entitled

"Pete's Fairy"
I wonder, if you can see why?
It is the work of my friend Beth Stafford from
Art With Love From PiCassieO, who has kindly given me permission to use it.
Thank-you!

LAVENDER!

This is not my usual tidy post as for days my Vigin cable Internet connection has been increasingly iffy, now it or my modem has crashed totally, and I can't get a technician out to resolve my problem till Saturday PM - Grrr!
I'm now surfing on Pussycat Paul's Wireless, but the signal is weak, keeps fluctuating wildly & so dumping me!
Please forgive me if I don't get around visiting & commenting til the W/E!

"LAVENDER blue, dilly dilly,
LAVENDER green
When you are King dilly dilly,
I shall be Queen.
Who told you so, dilly dilly,
Who told you so?

Twas my own heart, dilly dilly,
That told me so"
17th century English folk song

LAVENDER
is a favourite herbal fragrance of mine!
I have a straggly LAVENDER bush in my garden...

Lots of LAVENDER products in my home...

A favourite postcard of mine is this of French fields..

This Spring, the Golden Cross Shopping Centre's Pitza Express has dark LAVENDER tables with matching LAVENDER Blue Hyacinths pots... And, the Celebration Cake Shop hasn't let me down either...

Next weeks colour is...TURQUIOSE

How impressive that you managed to present such a beautiful collection with someone else's computer!

I'm so jealous that you have real lavender to contribute. I've tried to grow it a couple of times, but it doesn't like my soil.

My Lavender contribution is

Old Girl has been singing that song all week! It was one of the first she learned to play on the piano!
Also, we have a lavendar picture similar to the one you posted but couldn't find it this week. :(
Our post will be up shortly!

Hi!
I was just telling Mom she needs to let me blog again, it was TC Thursday, but it took another day before she got around to it. Beautiful lavender blog! Sorry about your server -- our cable TV has gone bad but Mom doesn't want to take the time to WAIT for the cable guy (does it take as long to get one across the pond like it does here?). She already spent 2 hours with the guy last time and the problem was fixed for about a day before it went bad again!
Sometimes she says we all have too much technology...

Love
Rudy
