We have spikey ones in the park and although beautiful - very annoying for the dog's paws. I go in front swishing them off the path! No joy without pain!

Are those chestnuts edible, Blue? Mom wants to know. We used to have chestnut trees in our yard but they lost so many branches that dad took them down! They were sure painful to step on!
