I wonder, if you can see why?
It is the work of my friend Beth Stafford from

True Colours Thursday - RED!

"RED, it is berry time!" were my words to describe this week colour, so I'll start with a postcard is from friends Maggie & Mitch, who wrote "We couldn't help think of you & True Colours Thursday - berry RED!"...A few more berries & local seasonal colour...
The other week, the cities Town Crier, in his full regalia was out & about advertising a Beer Festival @ the Town Hall...I prefered to 'Window Shopping' for RED, found a striking dress with matching bag...
Then, the RED wellingtons, to complement the outfit, maybe not...
And, I caught one of the confectioners @ The Celebration Cake Shop, adding the finishing touches to this cake...

To join True Colours Thursday, all you need, is to post a photo/photographs & text, or better still both, on the specified colour of the week.
If you simply want to use the idea as a 'prompt' for a post, as I do now, with many memes, that's fine.
But, if, you'd like others including me, to visit you, please leave a comment below, so we know you are 'IN'!
For this meme only, I lift my 'Comment Moderation' to help players connect with each other.
Everyone, who to my knowledge has participated recently, is named in the TCT Roll Call in my side bar.
Next weeks colour is SILVER!

What gorgeous warm reds. And a reminder of red-currants! Maybe they don't grow in Oz!

Our Mom would love those red Wellies. We are still out of the office today but will be back in full force for silver.

Just gazing at your list - we think December 24th should be the obvious - red and green together. Better yet, let each show his/her favorite Christmas colours.

If those grim winter predictions are correct, I could use a pair of those red boots. Love the dress, and the cake is looking pretty tasty. It's time for breakfast. I believe I will cut a virtual piece to go with my coffee. ;)

Lovely reds. I love berries. the red-currants made Mums mouth leak. she stands by the bush eating thems by the handful when there ready. they are just hard little white berries at the moment, they grow in Tasmania and Victoria (at the moment) they have to have a cold Winter

I'm definitely a fan of the town crier.

My submission this week is some flowers I found around the pond at the house of a family friend.

Enjoy!

"These boots are made for walkin'". Loved your reds. Mine are up, and yes, I know its Friday but had a family emergency to attend to. Takes an emergency to get me away from the computer, ha! Everything's okay now, and I hope you enjoy my reds!
