For a while now, a little ditty about colours that I remember from way, way back, has been running through my head.
It's the 'The RAINBOW Song'.

A rainbow! That's what I say whenever someone asks me my favorite color! My lavender is posted and so is my recipe for cookies.

Great choice of rainbow colors. I love the pink and blue car, and that cake looks too pretty to cut.
When Marigold was a tiny baby, I was watching an old black and white movie, while rocking her in the middle of the night. The movie, I don't know the name, had an actress singing The Rainbow Song. I couldn't remember any of the words, except these:
Red and yellow and pink and green
Purple and orange and blue
I can sing a rainbow,
sing a rainbow,
sing a rainbow too.(Only I thought it was sing a rainbow tune)
That verse became my lullaby from that night on. I sang it to Marigold, and when Pansy came along, I rocked and sang the same words to her, and then Boy #1 and Boy #2. I sang it to all of them. I still sing that verse when one of them is sad.
I do love your rainbow of colour. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who had trouble coming up with a single one, I'm finding wet weather is takings its toll on my interest to go out. I also have very few photos so usually run around taking them on the day, but it ended up being fun, again. thank you blue.

Such great color that I had a hard time choosing which to save for the featured photos this week! No problem with me as far as archives go. Hope things will brighten up for you soon!
Interesting pics! I took some pictures to participate, but then didn't get them uploaded in time. Out of town next week, but then will be able to get back to this fun meme. Pansy wants to join the fun too.
The rainbow song is great! Grandma used to sing it to me. My favorite color is blue, too. That's why I suggested sky blue for a true color.

Posted my sky blue photos taken in Pugwash, Nova Scotia a week ago. Pugwash is known as a peaceful little town with a thinkers' lodge in it. The people were so friendly.
