Camera Critters Sunday - "I'm Late!", cried the Rabbit!
Continuing on from Alice's Day yesterday, one of the characters I remember best from the story 'Alice in Wonderland' is the White Rabbit - this fine fellow I've personally encountered...He's just one of many released domestic Bunnies 'gone wild', that live contentedly inMinoru Park, in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. I, affectionately re-named it 'Bunny Park',as sit quietly there for a few moments & out pops another rabbit...I wrote about this peaceful, green oasis & their story, with more bunny shots in a previous Camera Critters post to be found HERE!
From the Walt Disney's 1951 film "Alice In Wonderland", which I remember being taken to see as a child. Alice was sitting on the riverbank, with her cat, when all of a sudden, a funny little rabbit in a waistcoat came rushing by... Camera Critters is Misty Dawn's creation!
"What is PINK? a rose is pink, By a fountain's brink. What is RED? a poppy's red, In its barley bed. " What is BLUE? the sky is blue, Where the clouds float thro'. What is WHITE? a swan is white, Sailing in the light. What is YELLOW? pears are yellow, Rich and ripe and mellow. What is GREEN? the grass is green, With small flowers between. What is VIOLET? clouds are violet, In the summer twilight. What is ORANGE? Why, an orange, Just an Orange!"
The True Colours Thursday POEM CHALLENGE can be found HERE! Opps - the link was broken but is now fixed!
The first & very appropriate track 'True Colors' was suggested by friend Jeannie!
The rest goes with the flow of colours!
REMEMBER, you can turn the sound off!
Thoughtfully created for me by Eduardo & his Mommy!
Golden Daffodils!
Daffodils -extract "I wandered lonely as a cloud That floats on high o'er vales and hills, When all at once I saw a crowd, A host, of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze." William Wordsworth [1770 - 1850]
Lavender Blue!
"Lavender's blue, dilly dilly, Lavenders green When you are King dilly dilly, I shall be Queen. Who told you so, dilly dilly, Who told you so? Twas my own heart, dilly dilly, That told me so" 17th century English folk song
Pretty in PINK!
Reflections "Looking through the glass Reflections of the past What do I dare to see Staring back at me. Reflections bounce off window panes Images of what was gained Reflections of the past Memories broken and lost Reflections of the present Haunting memories not so distant Reflections through the tears Through the looking glass all the fears From the shadow and from the light All these reflections sudddenly take flight." Lorie Robertson
The flowers name, now known thanks to Maggie & Mitch - Hoya carnosa [Wax-plant].

There is a bunny hanging out in our back yard, but every time I get my camera out, it disappears. These are very pretty colors.
We have lots of bunnies running around in our yard but they're all boring brown! One day we're going to catch one of them! *wink wink*
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
