True Colours Thursday - GREEN!

Now, finding GREEN images from my recent Las Vegas trip wasn't easy.
Well, it is a desert region!
But, if you will allow a GREENISH look, I will get away with my incredible trip to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon.
Little Buddy thankfully, wore a GREEN shirt & Khaki GREEN shorts & posed for me - LOL - this overlooking the impressive Hoover Dam on our way to the Canyon...Enroute, the Joshua Trees, only found in Arizona & Israel were showing new growth...Plus, the Cactus on the Canyon's edge were definitely GREEN...And, on certain angles in the afternoon sunshine @ Guano Point, the many layers of the Canyon, eroded over thousands of years by the Colorado River & nature had a GREENISH tinge...To participate in True Colours Thursday, all you need, is to post a photo/photographs & text, or better still both, on the specified colour of the week.
Then, leave a me a 'Comment' here, to say you are playing along.
I'm sorry I still feel the need to have comment moderation in place.
BUT, plan soon to use the wonders of Mr Linky, however, in the meantime to help visiting, everyone, who is or has previously participated, is named & linked in my side bar.
AND, I will try to up-date throughout the day.
Next weeks colour is BEIGE - suggested by Rinkly Rimes to test us!
If, anyone has a suggestion for a 'Colour', please feel free to say.

It's amazing how many greens you found in the desert. I'm glad you got some shots of the Joshua trees. They have an interesting shape. And LB looks mighty fine in his greens.

Amazing photos Blue. I heard it took 2 years straight to pour the concrete for the Hoover dam. Incredible. I'd love to see Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. For now I just have to look at the Blue Mountains lol.

What a nice contrast the green provides in the dry browns of the desert.

Thanks for visiting our post - beige is going to be quite the challenge for us.
