The wonderfully colourful image above is entitled

"Pete's Fairy"
I wonder, if you can see why?
It is the work of my friend Beth Stafford from
Art With Love From PiCassieO, who has kindly given me permission to use it.
Thank-you!

Post but Not for Me!

It comes to something, when the mailman delivers a parcel and it's not mine!
Today, I got household bills in the post, Sir Woodstock recieved this...Last Wednesday, he entered the competition run by Autumn, Maggie & Mitch's 'wheelie' to win one of special minature socks knitted by their arty/crafty Mum.
And, he won with a little help from me!
As a consequence, we now have a new delightful Hug member courtesy of them too...
A FULL REPORT can be found on his blog - LOL!
But, here's Woodstock helping Merry out of her travel trunk...
And, @ least I can say Thank-You here!

Postscript:
Per a little recent Internet research, as was curious - newcomer, Merry is a Merrythought Bear from Ironbridge, Shropshire, UK.
She will therefore have been hand made, just like Woodstock
And, is fully jointed & a collectable Mohair bear like him too!
Can't date her @ mo but all Merrythoughts, are limited editions.
So, even greater thanks to Autumn and M&M's mum!!!
I just wonder, what journey took her to North America & how she got lost!

It's really funny when stuff arrives addressed to Bob or Dilly! LOL!

Merrythought Bears are always well mannered. You shouldn't have any trouble with him.

I *think* Merrythought close down last year :(

Hang on! I just followed that link- doesn't look like they closed down at all! Hurray!

It was the woman in the Bear SHop that told me that. Hmm... maybe they were taken over? Odd. You'd think that she of all people would have known!

hey Merrythought Bears, I used to run an antiques stall - they were pretty valuable.

I will give you a ring!!!!!

Although Sir Woodstock is too valuable as he is, to be sold on the open market.

I will stick to watching BBC 1 Bargain Hunt before lunch time,
I love Tim Wannacot!

Sad personage that I am!

Must remember to get a life..........

Sweet Merry seems a very fitting companion to Sir Woodstock!
