And, PURPLE is not big in my life, though it certainly will be when the bruises from my accident emerge - LOL!
But, yesterday morning when looking for a cosy sweater to brave the cold in, I recalled my Chenille one & my Celtic Amethyst jewellery and quickly took this snap...
Which subsequently, reminded me of the magnificent, ornately embroidered PURPLE Vestment Robe seen in the Cathedral during a visit to an Open Day @ Christ Church College...My True Colours Thursday is easy to join in.
All you need is photos or text on the weeks chosen colour.
And, just leave me a comment to say your playing.
This weeks known participants are:-
Aileni, BJ, Dragonstar, Mar, Jonna,
Other PREVIOUS players, who may join in later today, can be found listed on TCT BLOG ROLL in my side bar.
I promise to visit ALL, as soon as I can.
And, I welcome newcombers & followers Lily Hydrangea, who has two interesting blogs and the Dughallmor Beagles!
The colour for next week is BLACK - my bruises may be that shade by then!

These pictures glow - super good Purples.
Love your purple jewellery. I hope you heal soon, that sounds very painful. It has been very icy around here up until yesterday, not nice at all.
Take care.
Mine is up now too! :-)
Your Celtic Amethyst jewellery is wonderful!!! love your purple choices. It wasn't easy!!
You came up with some excellent purple offerings. I hope your purple bruises aren't too bad. I also hope you are not in pain today.

Thanks for visiting my blog. It's nice to hear you have such good humor over your accident. I hope you are feeling better every day.
Have you ever heard of Arnica? It is a homeopathic remedy that you can usually get in a health food store as an ointment. It works wonderfully on bruises. I use it whenever I get a bruise.
gorgeous purple choices!
I'm finally up--takes for-e.v.e.r. with one hand :O(
happy Thursday

This is how it will go.
Black, then a horrible shade of blue (sorry but not a nice blue!), then kinda green and yellow, then grey and then gradually it disappears.........
I did mine back in November and still have one slightly swollen eye, and some greyness under and above the eye. And I did it in November.
Hope I have cheered you up!!!!!!
The Celtic brooch is lovely btw, it will go with the small sporran, shame there is not a mini Scotsman about too, to cheer you up!!
Letty ;0)
Gorgeous purples, Blue! I plan on participating today, but it will be later on this afternoon (maybe nighttime for you) as I have some early afternoon plans, and am having difficulty finding purple things.
And I love the color. Strange, huh?
I love the comment you left on Word of the Day--it really made my day :)
My Mommy loves that robe! I did the meme!
