I wonder, if you can see why?
It is the work of my friend Beth Stafford from

January Hoare Frost!

Dreamingspires usually misses the worst of the English Winter weather.
I know, NOTHING here, matches the extreme COLD experienced by my friends in North America.
But, we UK wimps, don't care for anything below freezing!
We're just not use to it, especially those of us South of the Scottish border!
I woke this morning to a White World.
No, not snow.
But, the damp & overnite cold had done a great job.
Mr Jack Hoare Frost had visited locally!
My garden bushes...The park locality...I love his beauty, it comes without the problems of Mr Ice & Mrs Snow.
The next few shots are from 'his' Mr Frost's visit to Derbyshire...Keep warm & cosy all.
I plan too!

It sure looks cold, but frost makes for beautiful pics! I especially like the red berries.

oh I love the frost, well apart from the time it takes to scrape it off the car!

I never allow enough time for doing this when I go out so I am always late I fear.

I love the way the frost looks on everything! My Mommy has only seen snow twice in her whole life, & it wasn't even that deep many 1 inch. Everyone gets snow around us, but never us:( Oh well. She wants to travel when she gets better.

I think frost is so pretty.....in pictures. But I'd rather look at it from the warmth of my house. Lovely pictures.
